The event was a huge success and the connection between Judah and Ephraim was reaffirmed.  If our Native American brethren are not descendants of the Lost Tribes then they definitely had interaction with Israel understood their "grafting in" and learned, as we did, the value of multi-cultural worship of YHVH.

Subject: Hardeeville Hanukkah Conference

Six strong spiritual events took place at the Hardeeville Hanukkah Conference, 12-21-00 to 12-24-00.

1. Many born again Native Americans, among them Indian Chiefs, dance/drum units, and ministry heads were gathered together.  There was a definite quickening and drawing together for the purpose of more effective outreach for the salvation of Native America, which has a low response rate to the gospel of YHVH-Y'shua.

2. Public and sorrowful apology was made by the Anglo people on behalf of our ancestors for the terrible and atrocious treatment of Native America. Native America responded with forgiveness.

3. Native American "protocol" was carried out with all due and fitting solemnity. "Protocol" is a series of ceremonious actions
which involves tribal leaders. "Protocol" has to do with authority. Certain tribes have been in geographical areas of this continent for centuries or millennia. The chiefs of these tribes are considered the gatekeepers of the land in that geographical area. When new peoples come into that area, Indian protocol instructs that the new people group leaders meet with the indigenous leaders. As the intents of the new people's leaders are communicated and understood, the indigenous leaders give their blessing and their permission for the new people to be in the land. Valuable gifts are exchanged by the leaders as a token of the good faith and covenant between the two parties.
Protocol was disregarded and completely breached by the treachery of the white man in the past. Therefore, a ceremony of protocol was conducted between the Indian Chiefs assembled there and the Messianic leadership. Permission was given by the Native American gatekeepers to loose these messianic ministries to the people of their respective geographical areas.
This was an awesome move of YHVH in our great land, a vital link in the restoration of the One New Man upon the earth (Ezekiel 37, Ephesians 4), a launching of the truth about all Israel in power upon the USA and Canada!!

Note:  We also found this to be very eye opening.  "Ceremony" is considered part of "worship" in Native American culture. We treat each other with respect and honor as we would treat the Creator, therefore we worship Him.  This went on for over 3 hours!

4. Many people of various ethnicities were there because of a draw towards Israel. Many of these were in the very beginning stages of interest. Some were further along, just newly awakened to a concept declaring "Israel" as more excellent than "church". Receptivity and anticipation was high. Manna was eagerly received and imparted regarding two house truth.

5. Worship styles were appreciated and offered up to YHVH. The Native American cultural style added such richness to our
corporate praise. Messianic Israel was looking a lot more like it should in its array of richness and color.

Note: What a sight! Native Americans, Jews and non-Jewish Ephraimites sitting around a Father drum leading worship chants!

6. Dialoguing between participants during breaks, etc heightened our awareness of what YHVH is doing in His great nation, and how we can better support one another. Insights, vision, teachings, testimonies were exchanged.

Note:  We learned that Abba, pronounced AB ba, is the same in a Native tongue except pronounced ab BA and it means the same thing - Father!

Thank you, Hardeeville Leadership and all participants. Thank you Ron Pate for the use of the tent and its dedication. This was truly a feast of "Dedication" (i.e.: Hanukkah means "dedication"). This was a Hanukkah. A Hanukkah indeed!!

2)  Another participant, Tina, sent us this information from a Sacred Name website:

Native Americans called on the NAME of YoHeWah

James Adair's "History of the American Indian" which was originally written in 1775. The book is very
rare and has always been regarded and treated by ethnologists and historians as a reliable authority
on the Southern Indians.

His book speaks mostly about the Cherokee and Seminole nations, with a chapter dedicated also to
the Aztecs and Incas of Mexico and South America.

Mr. Adair puts forth 23 separate arguments proving that the above named natives were descendants
of the Lost Tribes of Israel. ----- The ancient heathens worshipped a number of gods-gods which they
formed to themselves, according to their own liking... But these Indians pay their religious endeavors
to "Loak-Ishtohoolla-Aba", the great, beneficent, supreme, holy spirit of fire, who resides (as they
think) above the clouds and on earth among unpolluted people. He is with them the sole author of
warmth, light and of all animal and vegetable life. They do not pay the least perceivable adoration to
images or to dead persons; neither to celestial luminaries, nor evil spirits, nor to any created being
whatsoever.

They are utter strangers to all gestures practiced by the pagans in their religious rites. They kiss no
idols. (ROMAN CATHOLIC'S i.e. CHRISTIANS)

The ceremonies of the Indians in their religious worship are more after the Mosaic institution, than of
pagan imitation. There yet remains so many marks as to enable us to trace the Hebrew extraction
and rites, through all the various nations of Indians.

It may be objected that the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans worshipped their gods at the dawn
of the day and the Persian Magi with all the other worshipers of fire, paid their religious deviors to the
rising sun. The Indians however; are plainly not idolaters or polytheists; as they sing to and invoke Yah
and Yo He Wah, the divine essence.

Their Language and Dialects

a) The Indian language and dialects appear to have the very idiom and genius of the Hebrew. Their
words and sentences are expressive, concise, emphatically, sonorous and bold. Also both in letters and
signification, synonymous with the Hebrew language.

b) The American Indians not only name God by several compounded appellatives, but likewise say
"Yah" at the beginning of their religious dances, with a bowing posture of the body; then sing Yo Yo,
He He, Wah, Wah and repeat those sacred notes on every religious occasion. The religious
attendants calling to Yah enables them to humbly supplicate, seems to point to the Hebrew custom of
pronouncing "Yah" (see the book of Psalms) It is well known what sacred regard the Jews had to the
four lettered divine name, so scarcely ever to mention it, but once a year, when the High Priest went
into the holy sanctuary at the expiation of sins. Might not the Indians copy from them this sacred
invocation? Their method of invocating God in a solemn hymn, spending a full breath on each of the
first two syllables of the dreadful divine name, hath a surprising analogy to the Jewish custom.

c) Pickett, in his "History of Alabama" says: "Many of the older Indians with whom we have conferred
believe in their Jewish origin, while others are of a different opinion. Abram Mordechai, an intelligent
Jew, who dwelt fifty years with the Creek nation, confidently believed that the Indians were originally
his people.

Their Worship of YHWH By a strict, permanent, divine precept, the Hebrew nation were ordered to
worship at Jerusalem; YHWH the true and living EL and who by the Indians is styled "Yohewah".
