SHOFAR SERVICE AND REPAIR

    Most shofars that are purchased through the tourist market in Israel, the USA or through mail order, do not play well or anywhere near their potential. As a matter of fact some do not play at all!     Shofars that play only one or two notes can sometimes be cleaned and/or worked on to produce better, cleaner and sharper notes.   Mouthpieces can be fixed and adjusted so that they are more comfortable to blow. Some shofars can have their mouthpieces adjusted or enlarged so that they are easier to blow. Sometimes a one note horn may become a two note horn and a two note a three note horn. Cracks and chips can be fixed to restore the integrity of the horn.

    COSTS:    You pay the cost and insurance to ship the horn to me.
      I will evaluate the horn and determine its potential & possible improvements.
      Your repairs should not cost more than $25.00 maximum plus shipping.
      Return shipping plus insurance should be around $8 to $10 by UPS or Priority Mail (USPS).
      If no improvement can be made, you pay only shipping costs.
      There is no minimum service charge.
      I have had good success improving the playing of many shofars.

    This service is provided so that the "Body" may have the best possible playing horns for worship and as a warning to the world that the Messiah will return soon. I believe that a clear, strong sounding horn will encourage you to sound your horn publicly and give you more opportunities to share the meaning of the shofar. Do not send it with a return receipt with signature requested because it will take longer to get the horn.
Send it UPS or by US Post Office, Priority Mail with a tracking label.

All repairs will be discussed before the work is done. I cannot be held liable if you are not satisfied, since I cannot guarantee the final results due to the nature of this work on an animal horn.
