(Excerpts from a letter) From: Helen and Dan Mallarkey August 25, 1999  We are digging a well in Bridlington and it is flowing.     Greetings from the United Kingdom! We are missing you folks and appreciate what wonderful friends we left behind. The Lord has a very short leash on us.  At the minute and boy are we being stretched.
A word about the Shofar ministry, we are receiving comments that the anointing is growing stronger when we sound them. Mike designed this brilliant scheme as part of his breakfast show to enable us to give a few words about the shofar and broadcast the sounding of them over this European Satellite channel one morning. We felt a tremendous excitement in that the shofar was once again announcing coming revival not only over the UK but other European Countries... Hallelujah!
The first time the Shofar is mentioned is in Exodus 19 vs 16-19 when the Israelites had gathered at Mount Sinai. The "voice of the trumpet (shofar) sounded exceeding loud" and "waxed louder and louder". According to the Torah in Exodus 20:18 the sound was so penetrating that the people could actually " see the sounds"! Israel conquered in the battle of Jericho with the blast of the Shofar (Joshua 6:20)...... The blowing of the Shofar is a signal for the call to repentance Isaiah 58:1..... The blowing of the Shofar ushers in the day of the Lord Joel 2:1..... and so it goes on! What wonderful stuff!!
Another major event was the sounding of the shofar while we were touring York Minster one of the largest medieval churches north of the Alps. Man did it sound beautiful in that BIG DEAD ANGLICAN BUILDING. The sound lasted a long long time after I stopped blowing... The first church built on this site was a wooden chapel for the baptism of King Edwin of Northumbria in 627. The Minster dates from the 13th-15th century. It has 125 Very Big stained glass windows and some are over 50 feet high and 5 foot wide. We felt that we were coming against the principality of  religion and we could feel the enemy tremble! Thankfully it was near closing time and there wasn't too many people around as we would have never had the freedom to go for it. Only a couple of people were upset by the noise!
I also felt an unction to sound it at the site where several hundred JEWS WERE BURNED TO THEIR DEATHS because they would not renounce their GOD!
